Cooking information

Echizen Coast is dotted with fishing ports, so the seafood caught in the morning is transported alive to the boardwalk.
In the spring, there are cherry blossom sea bream, rockfish, flatfish, rockfish, etc., and in the summer, there are stonefish, abalone, yellowtail grouper, squid, prawn, etc.
In the fall, we have red sea bream, amberjack, and soy, and in the winter, we have firm seafood, as well as Echizen Crab.

    Our skilled chefs will prepare the best Echizen Crab to suit your budget.

    • Great Winter Food! What is Echizen Crab?
      It is ranked as one of the highest quality snow crabs. "Echizen Crab”
      Since the Meiji period, crabs that have been caught have been presented to successive emperors, so they are famous nationwide as ``Kenjo Gani.''
      Echizen Crab is characterized by its sweet flesh, packed tightly inside its shell, and yet firm.
      Female snow crabs are also called ``Seiko crabs''.
      Although it is about one-third the size of a male, its small shell is packed with crab miso, which is famous as a delicacy.
      The sticky texture is a masterpiece.

      By the way, the fishing ports for Echizen Crab crab fishing are Mikuni, Echizen, Tsuruga, and Obama from the north.
